This is one of Merino Inn Hotel’s western blocks.  The western blocks differ from the other blocks in the sense that the front doors do not face the beautiful gardens, but look out onto the surrounding veld and the beautiful kopje or hills of Colesberg.

The D Block is due for refurbishment and is thus cheaper than the more luxurious adjacent E block.

The D block rooms have carpets rather than tiles.  These rooms are equipped with a double bed and a single bed and are therefore suitable for a family of three. However if you are a bigger family you might be lucky to get the D1 room which is a family room which can accommodate 2 adults and three children in two separate rooms with one bathroom.

As with all the other rooms at Merino Inn Hotel, secure parking is provided right at your door.  There is therefore no need to carry your bags for long distances.

All rooms of the D Block at the Merino Inn Hotel are air-conditioned and equipped with a TV with nine channels.  These channels include MNet, all SABC channels and two sport channels. In addition all rooms are equipped with coffee and tea making facilities.
